G.I. Joe- 3.75 Division Episode : 34 "The Fate of Deep Six"

Okay this episode, aside from the mini episode with Rock 'n Roll is the most up to date episode of G.I. Joe: 3.75 Division that exists. Which means...we are just about all caught up!

Dive right in and as usual, click the photos to enlarge them for easier viewing and check afterwards for Director's commentary and behind the scenes information!!

This episode was pieced together entirely from random groups of photos I shot almost a year before putting this episode together.

Normally during a photo shoot, I will shoot sequentially where each photo typically happens in the order it was shot. This episode is a Frankensteined amalgamation of photos from Episode 26 and extra shots during episode 31 and 32. I knew there might come a time when I couldn't shoot more scenes for episodes, especially of Dr. Mindbender's laboratory, so I made sure to bank lots of pictures that can be useful down the road.

I think it turned out pretty awesome, it continues where Episode 26 and 32 left off, and acts as a spring board to get to episode 35 and 36. Even now while uploading the images for this post here on this blog, the mind is churing up thoughts and I think we will all be pleased with the results.

I really wanted to keep some of the Iron Grenadiers stuff and by having Cobra brainwash them, it gave me that ability to do. The Annihilator I remember fondly from childhood as my neighbor Allison got into G.I. Joes around the same time as the boys on the block, and this one one of figures she got (she also got an Alley-Viper, which all of us said she had to get because it had her name). When she got out of Joes, she gave her Annihilator to me and it's been an awesome toy for years.

I think after I finish troop building v2 Vipers, I'll try bulking out the numbers of these "flying locusts".

More to come!

G.I. Joe- 3.75 Division Episode 35: "To go boldly..."

Man a LOT of time has lapsed between putting new episodes of the comic up hasn't it?  Episode 34 debuted on July 7th 2022 and episode 35 wouldn't debut until December 31st 2022- and exactly thirty minutes from midnight to boot!  Alot of insanity has cropped up in my personal life prohibiting me from doing more photo shoots and progressing the story as I wanted it to, but from chaos comes order (so to speak). Episode 35 is monumental because it's the start of a new concurrent story arc that will be taking place parallel to the " The Rescue of Deep Six " story arc I've been showing since 2021.  I'm really enjoying this other story arc and I hope you all well too. As usual, click the photos to enlarge them for easier viewing and check after the last photo for some more Director's commentary! Okay fun Fact? I totally didn't remember that the first episode of this series was titled "To bodly go...", so it's rather appropriate that this ne...

G.I. Joe- 3.75 Division Episode : 30 "Dreadnoks: Toy Scalpers"

What? More Dreadnoks hijinks with Road Pig and Cyrus Borg?? Don't threaten me with a good time! We find Road Pig and Cyrus entering the Flight Hanger of The Deep  to go out in search of more living toys to capture.  More Director's commentary information after the last panel and make sure to click each image to expand it for easier reading! There was a BUNCH of things that got clipped off due to the square frame of Instagram, like the Aero-Viper working on the front module of the Cobra Condor Z25 . I didn't show any more of it as, well if you have never seen the Cobra Condor up close the thing is like a pickaxe. It's HUGE. The entire jet would have eclipsed the hanger set, but as I wanted to show some of it, I opted go show just the front half.  Here is an unused shot of the Aero-Viper possibly talking to Road Pig and Cyrus as they walk by, but it was cut as it really wasn't necessary.  I ended up selling the Cobra Condor Z25 off in 2022 because it just didn't ...

G.I. Joe- 3.75 Division Episode : Mini Episode "Christmas Time & Rock 'n Roll"

This was a mini 5-panel episode I threw together once inspiration struck on or around January 13th of this year (2023). I was packing up our Christmas tree ornaments and saw my old 1983 Rock 'n Roll figure amongst the decorations. This was the first real time I had a few minutes to fiddle around with him in years and, since the core G.I. Joe: 3.75 Division was in storage...he was a member of that team that was not. This meant I had a character tie back to the core storyline and he would allow me to go into a "spin-off" of sorts. Enter this episode. As per usual, click the photos to enlarge them for easier viewing and check afterwards for more Director's commentary! My cousin Johnny who is a good 10 years my senior, got into G.I. Joe waaaay back in 1982 when it first came out. Then, as far as I can remember, around 1985 or early 1986 he got "to old for it" and gave his entire 1982-to-1985, Joe collection to me.  I found a random photo in my parent's photo...
