G.I. Joe- 3.75 Division Episode : 29 "Workin' 9 to 5.. (Part 2)"

Part 2 of "Workin' 9 to 5.." is here. Yes it was very fast, because, well, the episode was made in September of 2021.

Anyways, I talked way to much at the beginning of the last post, so I'll keep this one short and sweet. Be sure to click each image to expand it for easier reading and then look at the director's commentary after the last panel!

Okay this story arc is unique in this series as we will come back to this, but not directly after Part 2. This was mostly because I didn't have quite enough photos to make a 3rd part and needed to touch on some other story arcs too.

Again, most of the unused photos from this shoot are getting used elsewhere, but this was a two panel section that I had to clip into just one panel. It was one of the Techno-Vipers calling out to One to ask about the Animus Ale they wanted and it just used too much space to have two separate panels.

That first panel would have been cropped off on Instagram so the readers wouldn't see One and the two Cyber-Vipers on the left hand side of the photo, but I left in intact for this deleted scene. This shot will also be used in a future episode, so don't be surprised if you see it on the blog again with different dialgoue.

Oh I almost forgot: This was a shot of the Techno-Vipers office fully set up, but I didn't get a chance to shoot any photos with them actually it. I might be able to use this photo in a future episode, but I gotta squeeze it in somehow. I already got a kind of idea on how, but I need to look at the photos I have and what I can work with.

Alright there are only three more episodes of this series that debuted in 2021 left to upload, then it's episodes 33, 34 and a Rock 'n Roll mini-episode to still upload, so we are closing in on being all caught up!

Stay tuned for more and Episode 30 is another favorite of mine for two reasons, which you will know immediately after reading the title.

G.I. Joe- 3.75 Division Episode 35: "To go boldly..."

Man a LOT of time has lapsed between putting new episodes of the comic up hasn't it?  Episode 34 debuted on July 7th 2022 and episode 35 wouldn't debut until December 31st 2022- and exactly thirty minutes from midnight to boot!  Alot of insanity has cropped up in my personal life prohibiting me from doing more photo shoots and progressing the story as I wanted it to, but from chaos comes order (so to speak). Episode 35 is monumental because it's the start of a new concurrent story arc that will be taking place parallel to the " The Rescue of Deep Six " story arc I've been showing since 2021.  I'm really enjoying this other story arc and I hope you all well too. As usual, click the photos to enlarge them for easier viewing and check after the last photo for some more Director's commentary! Okay fun Fact? I totally didn't remember that the first episode of this series was titled "To bodly go...", so it's rather appropriate that this ne...

G.I. Joe- 3.75 Division Episode 38: "Running Out of Time"

Hooray I'm being consecutive again!   This week's episode was another episode that was stuck in development limbo for over a year and I'm just proud of myself for taking the time to sit down and script this finally.  I'm just going to get right into the photo comic and wait for the Director's commentary afterwards to talk about everything. As usual, click the photos to enlarge them for easier viewing and enjoy! This episode features photos taken from 2021 and May of 2022 as I had gotten the "Decepticon" base set from Extreme Sets around that time. As I didn't have time to shoot the photos chronologically, I shot episode 33: "The Deep" at the same time as I snapped the photos for this episode and the next two episodes.  So for ME it's been rough to sit on these cool shots for almost a year and a half. I laughed when I got to this episode because this comic has been running for close to 2 and a half years and it took me 39 episodes until th...

G.I. Joe- 3.75 Division Episode 36: "Nervous Man in a Two Dollar Room"

This episode took so much time to finish and it irritated the hell out of me. Those last 3 panels I had gotten severe writers block on and I wasn't sure exactly how to end it.  More on why after the story, as usual click on each photo to expand it for easier reading and then look afterwards for Director's commentary! The title to this episode is a nod to an episode of The Twilight Zone, specifically "A Nervous Man in a Four Dollar Room", the $2.00 refering to how much vintage G.I. Joes used to cost. This episode really stuck me at those last 3 panels. Episode 35 and 36 were both shot at a house in the mountains of Pennsylvania that belongs to the family of my wife's friend. As the kitchen wasn't updated since the 1970's, it makes for a really cool and vintage-looking set for the comic to take place in.  Part of the cause of my writer's block is I wasn't sure how long we would be staying here and didn't want to start a shoot here that would last...
